Mr. Iwao Matsuda, Japan’s Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy, visited Tsinghua July 12. Professor Chen Xi, Chairman of the University Council, met and talked with Mr.Matsuda. They exhanged ideas on faculty, student cultivation, discipline development, and technological innovation. They also discussed future cooperation.
