Dr. John Hood, vice chancellor of the University of Oxford, visited Tsinghua September 20.
Dr. Hood met with President Gu Binglin, who explained the development of several academic disciplines at Tsinghua including law, life science, and medical engineering.
President Gu and Dr. Hood discussed the development of their universities and talked about future collaboration possibilities between the two schools.
After the talk, Dr. Hood visited the School of Law and the Structural Biology Laboratory.
Dr. John Hood became Vice Chancellor of the University of Oxford in 2004.
