Opening Ceremony for New Graduate Students

An opening ceremony was held for the new graduate students of 2011 on August 26.

Tsinghua University President Gu Binglin delivered a speech on the Ceremony

Tsinghua President Gu Binglin, University Council Chairman Hu Heping, Tsinghua Deputy President Chen Jining, Tsinghua Vice President Kang Kejun, Tsinghua Vice President Xie Weihe, Tsinghua University Council Vice Chairperson Han Jingyang, Tsinghua University Vice Chairperson Deng Wei, and Tsinghua University Vice President Qiu Yong attended the gathering for the more than 3,300 incoming students.

Registration for the graduate students was held on August 24.
